And so it begins…

It started off slow.  A single red leaf on the Sugar Maple.

Now there are more.

The days have a chill in the air, the nights more so with it now being the time for warm bed socks and the heavier wool quilts.

Autumn has come to the New England Tablelands!

The emerging colours of Autumn were also evident in Orange last week. Our daytime temps here in N.E. VIC are about 10C warmer than Orange but it won't be long before we see the leaves starting to turn, the nights now becoming quite chilly. Love that cosy feeling of being covered by a doona or blankets.

How beautiful. There is no sign of Autunn in the Gold Coast hinertalnd, we see changes in liquid ambers around late may through winter. I love Guyra is a really nice place. I hope the townsfolk will fight the mining bauixte and also coal seem gas, google it 😦 shame to spoil your beautiful part of the world. Please post more autumn pics as the season progresses.
