At Alstonville. These pictures don’t do it justice, but are the views from our bedroom. The first looks down over Ballina, the second is over Byron Bay. Of an evening you can see the light from Byron Bay Lighthouse.
So far we’ve had a great time window shopping at antiques stores, dining out (the absolute favourite being a wonderful Indian Restaurant by the name of Mumtaj) and simply spending time with each other and family.
On the way down we stopped at a friend’s place at Tabulam and spent entirely too much time with our shoes off to cool our feet off in the magnificent Clarence River. It is these simple pleasures that I adore and I am hoping to do the same when we head back home again.
